Co-op 28 Gallery is pleased to presents Los Angeles artists Richard Thornsberry & CJ Mammarella . Both Mammarella and Thornsberry celebrate the figure and all its glory. These unrepentant portrait artists toy with what is beautiful, powerful, uncomfortable and acceptable. Their works share many common themes but each artist has a unique approach when rendering their subjects. Thornsberry’s style hits you with a realistic brutality that is unapologetic and confrontational while Mammarella’s creations are more quiet and contemplative. Join us in celebrating these two talented visionaries.

Located at 1728 N. Vermont Ave. in Los Feliz, Co-op 28 Gallery is the exhibition annex to Marci Siegel's boutique Co-op 28. We have revolving shows offering the work of local artists in a new atmosphere that's both inviting and relaxing.
